Strong Authentication

Strong Authentication can be accomplished via several methods. Usually we refer to this as 2 factor authentication (Something you have and Something you know).

  1. Something you have
    This can consist of hardware tokens, software tokens, certificates, hardware VPN devices, etc.
  2. Something you know
    This usually consists of a password.
